The Pope Strikes Again

Pope Benedict the Evil decided to kick off his first papal tour of Africa by spouting more impractical nonsense and potentially lethal advice appropriately in the name of religion. On a continent under siege of an HIV epidemic, he thought it’d be helpful to discourage condom usage to prevent further outbreak. He even proved his deranged mental state when he detrimentally asserted that the distribution of condoms worsens, not lessens, the AIDS crisis. In this case, I’d give Pope Isadick more credit for worsening the crisis than anyone or anything else. So his godly advice boils down to: ‘Don’t use condoms; just don’t have sex.’ Yeah because that's going to work. Leave it to the church to come up with rules that don't have a snowball's chance in hell of working in the real world in which the rest of us live.

Bearly a Crime

Once upon a time in a very ‘faked-up’ land called Sudan, there was a teddy bear named Muhammad who was part of a school project in a class taught by a teacher from the U.K. Muhammad went to school with the children and on weekends, Mohammed would go home with one of the children and that child would write entries in Muhammad the teddy bear's diary about his weekend adventures at the child’s home. Muhammad and the children were having a blast UNTIL one day, some parents bitched that the bear was named Muhammad after their prophet Muhammad. Then, the Sudanese Justice Ministry - AKA the oxymoron of the century - came along and charged the teacher with ‘inciting religious hatred’ for which she could face punishment of 40 lashes and prison time.

The Catholic Church warns: Condoms are infected with AIDS

Condoms According to the BBC web site the head of the Mozambique Catholic Church believes that some European-made condoms are deliberately infected with AIDS. He further claims that some anti-retroviral drugs are also infected with HIV. Apparently, he believes the European Union wants to finish off the African people.

It is not the first time that the Catholic Church has tried to undermine the WHO's efforts to reduce the African AIDS epidemic by using ridiculous claims. Back in 2004, Vatican officials claimed that the HIV virus can pass through microscopic holes of the condom material. The excellent BBC program PANORAMA exposed all those crazy religious freaks.
